It was the band's first number one, and was hugely successful, spending 18 weeks on the UK chart. It premiered at the Bath Festival on 27 June 1970. Pink Floyd toured extensively across America and Europe in 1970 and by November were in central Europe. On 28th of the month, Floyd performed at the Saarlandhalle, in
